Trade Secrets
Made for the first Gamma (University of Hokkaido) vs. CU-Devs (University of Cambridge) game jam. Possibly the first recorded UK/Japanese university vs university jam! All assets made by me in the 48 hours of the jam. Font: RainyHearts.
Post Jam Quick Fixes:
-Toppled countries have "[Toppled]" appended once instead on every every reload of HQ.
-A country can only be traded with once after "exit" the only way to trade multiple times is to reacquire the number after trading (or in the same trade).
-Locations can be revisited if the secret is acquired after initially going.
-Added the ability to select number of countries (limited between 5 and 20 countries). I cannot confirm if the game is any fun to play with 20! Recommend playing with 5 still...
-Trades can now happen with equal values on both sides (instead of greater-than, now greater-than-or-equal).
-Implemented different sprites for different leader types in negotiation.
-Fixed inconsistencies with when you can trade or visit a location - to re-visit a country you have to re-acquire the secret. Added a guide prompt to show this.
-The alarm quickly depletes when all secrets are consumed in a level.
-Procedural generation of levels now clears the area near where the player starts.
-Phone numbers try not to be reproduced in a level - unknown ones should be spawned if possible.
-Fixed possible freezes when placing location secrets in levels.
-Adjusted flags and close-quarter room layouts
